Coronavirus Update

24/03/2020

FULL CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

Following the current government guidelines we have had to evaluate our operations for the foreseeable future.

As a company we feel that, at present, we must remain open to try and support the industries that we deal with including agriculture, food production and transport. We have however had to make some changes to how we are going to be working, which will be in place from 9.00am on the 24/03/2020 as set out below.

Contacting & Visiting Us

If you wish to contact us then we are currently actively encourage using our live chat service on this website, which is monitored by our staff and not a robot. Our phone lines are open as normal with the usual out of hours diversion in place. Further more all staff have access to their emails during and outside of office hours so we will be able to respond to you if you email us.

We are no longer encouraging people to visit us at HQ if it's only for an enquiry or a social visit. We would kindly ask that this is done over the phone.

If you have a machine that has broken down we are still accepting customer drop offs and collections once the work is complete. You will be asked to leave the machine outside, and we will complete the paperwork from the office. Similarly with collections the machine will be left outside, and payments will processed through the card terminal which will be sanitised before and after use.

On entering the trade counter, you will no longer be approached by a member of staff, they will serve you from their desks in order to maintain a safe distance. We must insist that only one customer enters the trade counter area at a time, and we ask where possible that you refrain from making contact with any of the surfaces.

Finally if you are feeling unwell, or have recently been in contact with someone who is unwell or self isolating then we kindly ask that you do not enter our premises. Contact us first and we may be able to make special arrangements in the event of an emergency.

Site Visits - Collections & Drop Offs

Unfortunately we have had to make the tough decision to temporarily suspend general site visits, collections and returns. There are some exceptions to this, such as work on static machines, but please contact us to discuss this.

Stock

At present stock of machines and spare parts are becoming more limited, and delivery of such goods are slowed due to the increased pressures on the transport sector. We will continue to work with our suppliers to get the necessary goods where possible, but please be aware that delays are beyond all of our control.

Our Staff

We are only a small family business, and whilst current government advice is to work from home, this really isn't feasibly with our line of work. We are all taking the current situation very seriously, but for as long as we can we will continue to operate following our new guidelines. We have all increased cleaning and sanitisation of our work areas, and where possible maintaining a little more distance from other staff members and our customers. We are now planing to wash all incoming repairs and disinfect where necessary before they are brought into the premises.

Our Promise

We know that many of our customers work in sectors where illness, time off and self isolation simply isn't an option. We will do everything we possibly can to help customers who need us, even through the most difficult of times. Whilst things may take a little longer than normal, and as processes have to be adjusted we will do our very best to maintain the best service that we can.

WE ARE OPEN - BUT WITH RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE

Current opening hours are 10am - 4pm.

We are currently still open, but we do have some strict restrictions in place, so be sure to read the full statement for how this may affect you.

OUR SHOP @ JUNCTION 24 LIVESTOCK MARKET - CLOSED

Following updates from J24 themselves, their markets will be restricted and closed to the general public from 18/03/2020. We therefore will support their decision and our shop there will remain closed. Please check back for updates on this.

MOST IMPORTANTLY

To all of our customers, suppliers and our friends, we wish you all well over the coming weeks. Things may yet become more challenging, but we will get through this.

Be safe, be sensible & be kind.
